ALR has been in operation for 22 years specialising in Permanent Recruiting, Outsourcing of Contract Labour and Managing Full Payroll Function and has offices in JHB, Cape Town and Durban.  ALR is a Level 4 BEE contributor.  We have been nominated and awarded a top 300 empowerment company and a top 300 operating company. ALR is one of a few companies that has it’s own internal Legal Department which offers continuous training of staff to keep them up to date with labour legislation, disciplinary procedures and handling of all CCMA and bargaining council dispute applications.  ALR also facilitates ABET training.


Permanent Recruiting


ALR has experience in recruiting in all positions ranging from Snr Managers, Office Administration staff, Engineers, Sales staff, Accounts, Administration personal, Drivers (all codes) Retail and General shop floor staff etc.  Our extensive data base ensures well screened, referenced and suitably qualified candidates to fulfil any permanent or contract position requirements.  Intensive interviews are conducted and detailed CV’s are compiled and sent through to the client.  We offer a guarantee with all permanent placements.


Contract labour


ALR adheres to all statutory regulation from BCEA and all Bargaining Council agreements that might be in place.  All employees receive a detailed printed pay slip showing all statutory deductions, overtime and leave pay, FRL, sick leave etc.  All staff receive an induction booklet.  ALR offers a death/funeral benefit.  Depending on the staff numbers we offer a qualified on-site supervisor or manager to handle basic HR and IR functions at no extra cost to the client.


Advantages to Outsourcing


Improves time keeping and productivity.  ALR do not recruit from the street. All staff are interviewed and reference checked and do a basic literacy and numeracy test – which offers better quality staff.  Outsourcing keeps the unpleasant function of discipline away from Management so it does not affect the relationship between Management and staff but rather enhances it.  ALR offers flexibility of staff requirements depending on work load. MOST IMPORTANT – ALR gives management the time to concentrate on their main functions of managing their business and not wasting valuable time and money on staff issues, e.g., disciplinary, CCMA and payroll queries.

CTL Group Holdings is extremely active in all facets of labour relations. A standard service offered incorporates day-to-day advice and direction for the line manager; in this regard we operate a 24 hr, 7 day a week service facility. Chairing dispute, disciplinary, grievance and/or appeal meetings is basically a daily occurrence. A specialty in terms of keeping abreast of current changes in legislation is the convening of breakfast sessions.
